TA5: Risk Assessment

In this fourth section of the Team Project, please present a comprehensive risk assessment of the system you are investigating. For example, if you are investigating a product by SAP, please provide a clear, concise, and comprehensive analysis (3-5 well-written paragraphs) of

1.An overview of major risks of buying, leasing, or subscribing to the system (based on the firm's assumed needs). (5 points)
2. A detailed discussion of potential privacy issues that the system presents. This discussion should address privacy issues from the customer, employee, vendors, or any other individual whose privacy rights might be violated. Consider risks in terms of probability and its potential consequences. Some risks are of high probability but trivial consequences, whereas others are of low probability but grave impact. (5 points)
3. A detailed discussion of potential security issues that the system presents. This discussion should address security issues from a technical perspective (e.g. HeartBleed) and a behavioral perspective (what the user may potentially do to compromise security). Consider risks in terms of probability and its potential consequences. Some risks are of high probability but trivial consequences, whereas others are of low probability but grave impact. (5 points)
4. A critical discussion of these risks in relation to the estimated benefits from last Team Project assignment. (5 points)

Your writing should incorporate materials from credible sources, including your textbooks (e.g., Austin chapter on cost of IT), EIA materials, and the IT-related newsletters recommended by the instructor. Please cite at least one source from the textbooks, and one source from the IT-related newsletters, and one source from EIA materials. (7 points)
